 Our employees are professionally trained to pack your merchandise in a refrigerated container or flatbed or trucks. Although we can schedule your orders to be picked up, our customers are responsible for paying freight charges directly to shipping company. Customers are encouraged to establish a relationship with their own shipping company to get professional service and prompt delivery. Between the months of January and May, we can arrange full truckload shipments to give you an affordable and competitive freight rate. All LTL (Less than Truck Load) and LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments will be loaded at our nursery unless other specific arrangement is made.
LTL Shipments
Customers who use trucking companies for their shipment must meet certain minimum freight requirement set by carriers. Freight for LTL shipments are calculated either by pot size (Unit Rate) or by space taken (Cube Rate) by each plant. If your carrier uses pot size for freight, your freight will be calculated for individual plants irrespective of space used by each plant. However, if your carrier calculates freight by space taken, please use the following table to calculate your space.

All other pot sizes such as liners, 4”, 6”, 8”, etc., need to be boxed and each may require different box size. These pot size plants ship well in boxes and they are usually cheaper to ship them by boxes. Please note that your supplier will charge extra for boxes or other sleeves used to protect the plants during shipping.
LCL Shipments
International freight companies require all your merchandise boxed or placed in a pallet. Please contact your freight company for your freight rate.
